Bill Valentine, Greg Janackis and Myself was at the field yesterday early afternoon. The weather was pleasant other than a few rain drops. Greg
brough his electrified Goldberg Skylark, Bill had his Beaver, Scooter, and another airplane and I brought my Thundertiger Bipe. It was a pleasant day to fly and typical this time of year, which is not a lot of flyers, but still fun. Plus ! Nobody re-kitted their model.
The last several days, the temperatures have been frigid and just a few days ago we had snow,
but today we woke up to clear skys, temps around 70, and a lot of our members had the same idea. LET"S GO FLYING !! We all had a great time and the turnout was fantastic. I'm sure we at different times thought about our fallen brothers, Byron and Doug who both passed on earlier this month, but they are still with us in spirit. Her are a few pics from todays flying.

There was a good variety of aircraft to enjoy watch fly. The weather is getting better and there will be more good flying days. These pictures are from Sunday, April 29,
2018. We had a really good turnout with 2 or 3 really terrific airplanes. The most exciting one and featured in today's pictures is Chris
Hulen's Sopwith Pup. it's a huge model of an
airplane that was a world war 1 fighter, but
wasn't a very big airplane. Also on hand was
Bobby McElroy's immaculate Navy Corsair,
plus several other really nice airplanes. Enjoy
